Redirect loop on admin login WordPress [Solved]

Once i faced the problem i googled and found some topics about the problem.

Result of the discussion I found solutions which might help you in same cases.

If you still haven't figured out how to skip the loop - add "index.php" in address bar after "youdomain.com/wp-admin/" ( In result you will get "http://www.yourdomain.com/wp-admin/index.php" ) . It will allow you to access normally wordpress admin page without loop.

Solutions

Method 1

Check general settings ( settings -> general ). And make sure your addresses are same ( make them lowercase ).

Method 2

Go to Permalinks settings ( settings -> permalinks ) and change to plain.

Method 3 ( My situation )

None of first methods worked for me ( Method 1 was correct for me, and method 2 - i didn't wanted to change permalinks ). So i have checked code what is happening there... and noticed that index.php isn't loading on wp-admin/ ( which should.. ). So I have checked ".htaccess" file in dir ( and in root dir later ). And I found old code in .htaccess which ruined login process.

I have removed everything but wordpress comment surounded code, saved and wuallia... everything worked.

Windows doesn't detects my nokia lumia

Ill tell you how i solved my problem with nokia lumia 930 and maybe it will help you.

First of all i had nokia lumia 635 which worked as charm when i was connecting it to my laptop with windows. But i have changed my phone and now when i was connecting with another cabel which i found at home it was charging but not connecting so i could copy photos.

After searching internet for help, I couldn't find any proper solution how to fix it. Mostly they offer to check devices and update drivers. But problem is that it doesn't show up there. So finally I have tried to change cabel i was using. And you know what? It worked... I was using cabel from my JBL sound system. I guess it supports only devices like that. For similar problems you might check this officia nokia lumia support page https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2749484 . It possible that you have only 1 left usb cabel, so i suggest to buy original nokia lumia cabels - Find cabel for your nokia lumia.

Then devices showed up in my devices list I have tried to update drivers with simple "update drivers software". But no success... It says "Windows could not find driver software for your device.".

Finally I found solution how to solve it but checking "Driver software installation" popup which shows up when you unplug and plugin your device. There was messages near each driver that It can't find drivers. But there was small button that says I can change settings where to check drivers. And I found out that my it doesn't searched for online windows update. So i have changed settings by simple checking checkbox - to search drivers with windows update. Saved settings; Unpluged device; Plugged in device and waited until drivers was found online with windows update.

After few moments my phone appeared in my computer and I could access files in it.

P.S. I suggest to set lock screen on your device to be without time limit. So it's screen be always turned on while you install your device, else it might not shown up on your computer too...

Please "like" my article so it could shown up higher in search engine, so it could help other people to solve the problem.

3 rams usable of 4 windows 7 32 bit solution

In my situation i had 3 gb's Rams are usable of 4 existing ones...

There are 2 method how to solve it:

1. Install windows with 64 bit. ( Need one? get it from amazon )
2. Other easier trick:

Method 2:

1. You need to find on internet small and neat program which was created by Russian programmers which is called "4GB-RAMPatch". ( From my dropbox )
2. Run it, and press "Patch x86 Ramlock".
* After you patch, you will be able to start windows in 2 different boots. first - with increased rams, and second is normal one.. You can change "waiting time" in start->run->msconfig ( boot tab ).
3. Restart

After you boot small text will appear near clock "Test mode". But i guess you can try to remove if you don't like it a lot. I'm lazy, so 'ill leave it alone for now..

Anyways you can unpatch anytime.

Turning off wifi network notification

Android phones has default notification for new available wifi network if your device is not connected. Sometimes it is so annoying so you don't turn wifi on.

You can turn it off.

Just go to
1. Settings -> Wifi
2. Press menu button
3. Select advanced
4. Uncheck "Network notification". ( "Notify me when an open network is available" ).
5. Done.

Failed to play test tone

If you got alert message while trying to test is sound is working or not.

For couple of days i noticed that something is wrong with sound. Sound disappears while calling in skype. Sound appears after a while "somewhere" else.. or not.

Drivers reinstall didn't helped.

I dont know why is not working but here some method which might help you to solve the problem.

I recommend to try method 3. Also please comment for other visitors... which method worked for you. Thanks a lot :3

Method 1 ( some people say helps.. )

1. Go to control panel
2. Double -> Click on the Sound Icon
3. Single -> click the Speakers to highlight them
4. Click on Properties (bottom right corner)
5. Go to the Enhancements Tab and Click on it
6. Now click "Disable All Sound Effects"

Method 2 ( helped me but for a while )

1. Start -> All programs > Administrative tools
2. Open services.
3. Navigate to "windows audi".
4. Right click on it and click "Restart".

Method 3

1. Start -> Run -> "regedit"
2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE /SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows /CurrentVersion/MMDevices /Audio/Render/
3. Goto the following key in registry {xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx}. I had 4 of these ones... Open these onces until you see - FxProperties. Click it.
4.a In the right hand side of the registry window change the value of {1da5d803-d492-4edd-8c23-e0c0ffee7f0e},5  -> (value type is REG_DWORD) to 1 (one) instead of 0 (zero).
5. Done.

4.b INCASE YOU DON'T FIND THE ABOVE MENTIONED KEY UNDER fxproperties, PLEASE CREATE IT BY YOURSELF. (COPY & PASTE

The audio start working at the moment you change the above value !!! (even before closing the registry editor).

JQuery remove !important

I have searched a lot. And i couldn't find solution how to remove the option. But i found that you can set another one attribute with jquery with important option, so you could overlap old style.

Here is code i have used for changing background-color of element - body which had background-color attribute with important option.

Solution

Solution for this is pretty simple. Google made page for iPhone users which uses calendar, so they could select which calendar to sync.

1. Go to https://www.google.com/calendar/iphoneselect
2. Check/Uncheck calendars which you want to sync to your iOS device
3. Press Save
4. Done.

Send highlighted text to Email Chrome extension

I was looking for extension for several days, but couldn't find it anywhere.

All i could find is tutorials how to make chrome extension and similar topic on stackoverflow with simple code how to make the extension.

So what i did.

1. Learned some simple chrome extension tutorials
2. Took the code from stackoverflow
3. Created simple extension which uses external domain with file which sends emails.

At first i have tried to make new tab with standart Gmail sender, but i failed at it. Because text in the case can be sent only by $_GET parameters, and Gmail has limits - about 2000 symbols. So it means max length of email is smaller than 2000 symbols.

Solution to this was to use external domain with sender.php.

How to remove duplicate values from an array in PHP

Change prestashop stores google maps zoom

Good day visitor.

In prestashop there is "Stores" section.

To change zoom of the default map which loads up after navigating there, go to:

• /js/ folder
• open stores.js

Go to line 196.

You will see code like this:

map = new google.maps.Map(document.getElementById('map'), {

center: new google.maps.LatLng(defaultLat, defaultLong),

zoom: 15,

Prestashop CMS block location header

Several days ago i faced with prestashop problem. I tried to hook right column cms block to header. But as prestashop developers says, that it was developed to hook only left or right side.

So here is my solution for this:

in global.css i changed right_column class position to relative and moved it up.

CSS looks like this after my changes:

position: relative;
left: 0px;
top: -200px;
width: 191px;
margin-left: 21px;
overflow: hidden

After this my center_column looked weird ( not full width ) and chaing it's width changes everything ( right_column drops down and starts to move... ). So i figured out this solution for the place: I changed center_column position to absolute, added padding-left so it dont overlay on left_column and added width which i was required from the beggining.

CSS looks like this after my changes:

position: absolute;
padding-left: 290px;
width: 810px;
margin: 0 0 30px 0;
overflow: hidden

Broken image. Failed to load images fix with JQuery

Today i was solving problem with failed to load images. There was 2 solutions for this - 1) php with getimagesize and 2) JQuery check.

getimagesize showed me warnings so my choice was JQuery.

And it was great choice, because using jquery is always fun.

Code i used for all img ( CSS attribute ):

Google chrome Program too big to fit in memory [ Solution ]

Today for first time i meet the problem.

I was browsing as always... many tabs - like 10. Most of them are text. Suddenly my pc showed BSOD. After restart google chrome want start. And shows cmd windows for a second.

With cmd.exe ( start > cmd.exe ) , you can run same google chrome to see error message. It was - "Program too big to fit in memory".

After some google searches i read nothing interesting but only complains and questions about the problem.

I was not worried about my bookmarks because im using google sync.

1. So i just opened firefox.
2. Went to Google Chrome download page.
3. Downloaded / Ran setup
4. After installation all came back to normal.

Also last session was saved... and i could see pages which was opened before BSOD.

In worst situation you can lose your bookmarks. So its up to you...

Leave a comment if your bookmarks haven't erased after install. If you didn't used google sync. Cheers.

Solution 1030:Got error 139 from storage engine

Today i meet with one big problem while updating MySQL database. The error is 1030:Got error 139 from storage engine.
The problem is that rows has limit.
I was trying to change limit, but there is no need.

Solution for this is very easy. All you need to change ENGINE of your table. While engine almost does nothing, and it will not effect on your values. ( Please read http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/storage-engines.html , before doing something ).

I had no time to read this so i executed the query:

ALTER TABLE `table_name` ENGINE = MYISAM

It worked for me. Hope it will work for you too.

Hidden new line in string PHP

I guess you seen the problem, or maybe facing with it at the moment. So if you echo the string with pre tags, it will show normally. But without pre tags, it shows ugly... just like a plain text.

The problem is that there is hidden new lines symbols like /r or /n and so on...

Just by replacing the with str_replace is not enough. So here solution for it:

$value = preg_replace('/[\r\n]+/', '\n', $value);
echo htmlentities($value);

How to test your hardware for problems

To find problem in your hardware you need to test everything... But you need to think... I mean, if windows loads up it means that video card, hard disk, rams, and so on works... Possible case - they works not good as "good", but they still works.

Anyways..

Here is some list of programs and other tricks i found while searching internet how to test your hardware parts.

Ram ( Random Access Memory ):
To test your RAM, you can do just by checking your Task Manager ( Performance tab ). Also you can see how many rums installed by going to "my computer"'s properties.
In harder cases people recommend to download these programs:

• memtest86+ ( http://tinyurl.com/6dgkn46 ), requires to burn CD to run
• Windows Memory Diagnostic ( http://tinyurl.com/4qw9hr5 ), requires to burn CD to run
• memtest ( http://tinyurl.com/2lqo2 ), no burn requires!

Hard Disk ( Hard Drive ):
Most of test which you can do for your hard drive is installed in windows. It called "checkdisk" or chkdsk.exe, you can run it from command line. In other case you can do that from your file explorer:

1. Go to computer, 
2. Select hard drive
3. Open properties
4. Choose tools tab
5. Press "Check Now" button, in "Error-checking" section
6. In showed up windows check all possible check boxes and press Start.
7. Wait until finishes and press Done. 

Also you can test your hard drive with SeaGate tool ( http://www.seagate.com/www/en-us/support/downloads/seatools ). 16,7 MB

Funny part of this, is that you can listen for sounds which hard drives are making ( in case if it is still working ), and check if it matches one of these ones: http://datacent.com/ . If it does,... i guess you need to change it.

GPU ( Graphic Process Unit ):
First of all windows has included tool for this - dxdiag . You can run it from Command line.

1. Press Start 
2. Run 
3. Cmd.exe 
4. dxdiag 
5. hit Enter
6. check Dispay tab, for video card information.

Most popular method to test your video card is to install and run one of Benchmarks product 3DMark. http://www.futuremark.com/

Motherboard:
If motherboard is not working properly you will notice it. Some of these facts says about it:

• Computer does not boot, and instead gives beep sounds.

Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): Unknown error. [Solved]

I got the error after, updating my chrome to 9 version. I appeared few times, and i decided to fix it. So here is solution for the error:

Chrome:

1. Open Options

2. Choose Under the Hood tab in options

3. Press Reset to Defaults

4. Done.

httpd.exe apache cpu 100% load

I had the problem today. When i started Apache from Xampp control panel, CPU usage became 100%. Nothing changed after apache restart and PC restart. Same.. - 100%.

So to understand what is happening you need to 

1. go to: C:\xampp\apache\logs

2. open  access.log with text editor

if file is too big to open ( bigger than 5 mb ) do this:
1. just delete access.log and error.log
2. start apache and stop it after it will start loading your CPU to 100%.

In access.log, you will be able to figure out what is happening with your apache ( httpd ).

In my situation was some kind of apache virus ( which affects my files with new scripts called webdav and webalizer ).
So if you have the folders in your xampp folder, that means you have same problem..

i solved it by this way:
1. -> Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network and Sharing Center
2. -> Windows Firewall
3. -> Allow programs to communicate through Windows Firewall
4. Removed Apache HTTP Server with checked under Public ( To do that press Change settings button on top )
5. Close everything.

It might not help you. So here is one more idea what you could do in the situation:
After finding out what IP requested execution of the script in part with error.log just Block it! Google for answer..

wmp.dll expected

I got the error after some weird updates of windows media player.

The error messages looks like -
"The file wmp.dll has a version number of 11.0.0.**** where 11.0.0.**** was expected. Windows Media Player is not installed properly and must be reinstalled."

Solution for it:

1. Start -> Run
2. Type or Paste this -> c:\windows\inf\unregmp2.exe /UpdateWMP
3. Press -> Ok
4. Done.

Now try to open WMP.
