Real Tracking and Shooting Portal Turret

I guess its first which I see... first pretty good looking IRL Portal shooting turret. 

This is the final project for my Advanced Mechatronics class at Penn State University. The robot is the skeleton of a turret from the game Portal that uses an IP webcam to track a target and fire nerf bullets at them. This is the current state of the robot as of 5/9/12, but I am currently molding a shell for the frame to make it look like the Portal turret, along with improving my code to make the tracking faster. All programming is done with MATLAB and Arduino. Enjoy!

Portal 2 map creator

The idea is that Players will be able to create maps. And other players as you and me will be able to play the created maps in Portal 2.

The "Perpetual Testing Initiative" allows players to easily create, share, and play Portal 2 puzzles. The Initiative comes with a simplified puzzle maker that allows that creation of mind-bending puzzles without ever leaving the game.
"Perpetual Testing Initiative" will be available for the PC and Mac on May 8th.

Diablo III Release Date

Finally greatest game of all time!!! only 2 months~ left.

After many delays, Blizzard has finally announced the release date for the long-awaited action RPG Diablo III. It’s due out May 15th, 2012. The game is available for pre-order now.
That doesn’t mean D3 is finished, though. In a press release, Blizzard said, “We look forward to putting the final polish on Diablo III over the next two months.”
The company has removed PvP capability from the initial release in order to avoid further delays, saving it for a post-launch patch that will let players battle one another.

Blizzard Downplaying Diablo III

Manager tells such thing. Its incredible! They say "don't take candy", but as we know the more you tell "don't", it becomes more desirable.

Blizzard Downplaying Diablo III of the Day: Blizzard’s Diablo III is one of the most-anticipated games of the year, and repeated delays have only made fans hungrier to get their hands on it.
One Blizzard community manager, Bashiok, is worried that there’s no way a game could live up to all that hype, so he’s taken to the Battle.net forums to manage gamers expectations by telling them that Diablo III isn’t that awesome.
“Stop thinking about how awesome this game could be. Just imagine it’s a new M. Night Shyamalan movie. SureSixth Sense was amazing and Unbreakable had it’s moments, but this right here is the sequel to The Village,” Bashiok wrote.
Although he’s got a point — the hype for D3 may have created an impossible bar for the game to clear — it’s unusual to see a game company’s public relations team telling fans to be less excited about a new release.
Maybe the M. Night Shyamalan twist to this story is that Diablo III will be the most amazing thing Blizzard has ever created. Either that, or Deckard Cain was dead all along.
Barring any further delays, we’ll find out sometime in the second quarter of 2012.

How to install ipa files on ipod touch or iphone

If you wondering how to install ipa files on your ipod or iphone just follow the tutorial.

1. First of all, you will need to jailbreak your ipod or iphone. To do that follow the tutorial: jailbreaking-41-ipod-touch-2g
2. Next you need to update all files with Cydia which will appear on your ipod or iphone after you jailbreak it.
3. Next make sure you synchronize your ipod or iphone with your iTunes. Make sure you have at least one application which is not default one. Other wise application tab will not appear in your iTunes.
4. Open cydia.
5. Go to manage and add http://cydia.hackulo.us source ( Manage>Sources>Edit>Add )
6. Search for "Appsync" application for current firmware and install it. ( Search>Appsync>Install>Confirm )
7. Than just download you needed one ipa file from internet.
8. Drag the ipa file to your iTunes application section.
9. Synchronize new content with your ipod or iphone.
10. Done.

[AVA] 1013 C:\ijji\ENGLISH\AVA\Binaries [Solution]

AVA - Alliance of Valencia Arms game which i started to play 3 days ago. 
And 2 days ago weird bug showed it self. After i start game ( join random server ), i appear in game but can't do anything because of this weird lag. It feels like your pc lagging not internet. So after 2 or 3 or 4 minutes lag, you stop laging. So if feels like omg finally it is over, BUT after 30secs appears little message in chat box. 
It sais: "lost connection to server: bla bla bla 20 secs". So after 20 secs your game is crushing and you appear on desktop with ijji reactor and error box 1013.


So if you have the problem, maybe it can help you as helped me. 
I haven't fixed it, but im able to play AVA.

Guide how to fix 1013:
1) you better turn off [ijji reactor] ( but i think it is not essential )
2) Disable your antivirus
3) go to your AVA binaries folder. the path error shows C:\blah blah blah\binaries\
4) delete "GameGuard" folder
That is all.. after i do this it updates GameGuard ( like 8 files ) and i able to play AVA normally.. It is bad that i need to delete them each time i want to play, but it is better then to reinstall ava each time you want to play ( between reinstall ava helped me [because gameguard files renewed ^^) )

OS: Windows 7.

BETWEEN
For those who don't knows what AVA is, i totally recommend to try it. IMO it is very good game while i hate CS ( counter - strike and love quake 2 ). Style of the game like - FPS/ACTION/RPG/STRATEGY/and so on :D

Quake 2 on WII

This if fu.king awesome. If i had wii, i would buy quake2 for it for sure. Im just saing..

by IzhidoA port of the original id Tech 2 engine (Quake II) to the Nintendo Wii, compiled using devkitPPC / libogc. The engine is almost feature-complete, with sound & network play. The only missing functionality is the CTF (capture-the-flag) module that was added later into the engine. If you are receiving the error - " steam.exe (main exception): CMultiFieldBlob(pSerialized): Partial field header at end of record " then you came to right place where you will find the problem solving.

So do this:

Method 2 ( Thanks to Joelhão ):
Exit Steam
- Download setup of steam ( SteamInstall.msi from http://store.steampowered.com/about/ )
- Run setup
- Choose Repair from setup.
- Finish
- Done!

Method 1:
- Exit Steam
- Delete your clientregistry.blob file ( in your steam folder C:/program files/steam/ )
- Reboot your machine ( Personal Computer )
- Log back into Steam and let the file recreate itself.
- Done!
