Solution for Chrome USB debugging remote devices doesn't appear

Today I was forced to inspect crashing chrome browser. To inspect that i needed to use desktop chrome.

To do that there is pretty good tutorial: https://raygun.com/blog/debug-android-chrome/

But after completing all steps. Nothing appeared in "remote devices" on desktop.

After few hours i have found solution.

To fix that:

1. Download SDK Platform-Tools for Windows zip file. Extract..
2. Launch cmd.exe ( command prompt ). 
3. From extracted folder launch "C:\path_to_file\adb.exe devices" . You might get as i got - "List of devices attached: 9be86c14 unauthorized"
4. Now unplug your phone and plug it back. 
5. Check your phone that it allows PTP connection of USB debugging ( check raygun.com link ).
6. Repeat #3 step - launch "adb.exe devices" command again. You might get same message in cmd.exe window. BUT now check your phone. There should be confirmation popup window for mac address. Accept that.
7. Now just repeat same #3 step. As it shown from my screenshot i got success message "9a479b83 device".
8. Done. Now you should be able to detect the device under "remote devices" in google chrome. 

To inspect url on device:

1. On device open chrome and open desired url
2. On desktop open remote devices 
3. Click device
4. Near appeared list of "opened" tabs with shown urls find your "last one" and on right side click "inspect" button.
5. Done.

Experiment code missing the cookie domain name declared in tracking code

If you still dont know why you get the error:

Your google analytics code had "subdomain" enabled mode. for example www.igloro.info is main domain, and kambariokai.igloro.info is subdomain and it has enabled subdomain mode.
When I have tried to create experiment I got the error.

Solution:

1. Open your google analytics code and copy _setDomainName.
2. Open code which you have added into your . And add code before experiment code replacing domain name with your one:

• Post some articles on blogs for robots to index your page faster
• Share main URL on social circles.

Tracking redirects with google analytics

I have tried to use php headers, but no success. Google analytics cant track page with php header location.

meta tag is not good way for me... so i found fastest redirector with javascript.

It is a simple google analytics script with window.location method in function. 

How to clean Gmail fast

If you didnt deleted mails from your gmail for ages, and you want to delete some of them and archive other ones than you came to right place.

Here is how to do it.

Sing up on mailstrom ( https://mailstrom.co )

You need to use the great tool.
With the tool I deleted / archives 16000 emails ( something like ~1 hour... work )

Here how it works
You give access to your gmail. The tool scans for titles and mails names and groups them.

Here is some suggestions how to clean.
1. Delete all social mails ( junk, right? )
2. Check mails grouped by size ( More than 10 mb ).
3. Finally go to section group by Time and delete / archive everything
3.1 My method: After click certain time label , i unckeck mails which ill archive., after i press delete button. Once mails sent to delete i double press on "uncheck/check all" checkbox to select all mails which are left. Once they are selected i archive them. It takes about 5-15 secs per Time label. ( +5-30 extra load )

So if you have like 40 time labels, it will take you like 40 x 1min = 40 minutes to delete everything.

As the app says they will generate report in which you will see various information about your year using of gmail.com.

I disappointed a bit after i couldn't login into the site on chrome.
And finally it will take up to 72 hours to generate report. So i still didn't got mine yet :)

So, few days ago i created my new blog for my new project - igloro.info ( You are all welcome to visit my new blog here: http://seokeywordstools.blogspot.com/ ). I write update's news there and description about all tools we are created.

Currently working on my own new project. In the project im trying to create tool for monitoring seo keywords of other projects.

I have a lot fun and im trying to use most newest tools to create it. There already is some good tools, like keywords searching, google pagerank counter, urls counter, google analytics monitoring and much much more coming!

Hope to see some testers there and ill would like to hear some suggestions from your side if you are very interested in it.

It is a bit bugged for now but ill fix everything very soon.

Also it will be multi language project. But for beggining there will be only 2 languages - Lithuanian and English.

Google chrome Program too big to fit in memory [ Solution ]

Today for first time i meet the problem.

I was browsing as always... many tabs - like 10. Most of them are text. Suddenly my pc showed BSOD. After restart google chrome want start. And shows cmd windows for a second.

With cmd.exe ( start > cmd.exe ) , you can run same google chrome to see error message. It was - "Program too big to fit in memory".

After some google searches i read nothing interesting but only complains and questions about the problem.

I was not worried about my bookmarks because im using google sync.

1. So i just opened firefox.
2. Went to Google Chrome download page.
3. Downloaded / Ran setup
4. After installation all came back to normal.

Also last session was saved... and i could see pages which was opened before BSOD.

In worst situation you can lose your bookmarks. So its up to you...

Leave a comment if your bookmarks haven't erased after install. If you didn't used google sync. Cheers.

Here you go... google launched Page speed online analyzer. While it analyzes, it gives you lots of suggestions after completeing them, you website speed will improve!
There is 2 methods of analyzing - Desktop and Mobile. After analyze you will get number from 0 till 100 which describes your result of website speed.

httpd.exe apache cpu 100% load

I had the problem today. When i started Apache from Xampp control panel, CPU usage became 100%. Nothing changed after apache restart and PC restart. Same.. - 100%.

So to understand what is happening you need to 

1. go to: C:\xampp\apache\logs

2. open  access.log with text editor

if file is too big to open ( bigger than 5 mb ) do this:
1. just delete access.log and error.log
2. start apache and stop it after it will start loading your CPU to 100%.

In access.log, you will be able to figure out what is happening with your apache ( httpd ).

In my situation was some kind of apache virus ( which affects my files with new scripts called webdav and webalizer ).
So if you have the folders in your xampp folder, that means you have same problem..

i solved it by this way:
1. -> Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network and Sharing Center
2. -> Windows Firewall
3. -> Allow programs to communicate through Windows Firewall
4. Removed Apache HTTP Server with checked under Public ( To do that press Change settings button on top )
5. Close everything.

It might not help you. So here is one more idea what you could do in the situation:
After finding out what IP requested execution of the script in part with error.log just Block it! Google for answer..

Google Chrome 7 URL bar weird auto complete

If you are using 7th version of Google Chrome, and you don't like how it changes your first letters of url you trying to write to complete url. Than here is easy follow guide how to disable it.

1) Key -> Options
2) Under and Bonnet
3) Uncheck -> "Use a suggestion service to help complete searches and URLs typed in the address bar"
4) Close
5) Done!

Android Weather Problem ( Current ) [Solved]

So, if you are so newbie as i was a minute ago than this should help you if you have problem with weather shower.. which shows not your town as current while you are in other town.

1. Anyways all you need to do is to remove weather and time widget from desktop.

2. Press "+" to add widget

3. Add time widget which you like

4. It should ask you about City selection, after you selected Clock design.

5. Select your town

6. Add weather widget.
